Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to acutely ill adult patients in a Medical Surgical setting
- Support patients undergoing both emergent and elective surgical procedures
- Deliver care in accordance with the highest professional nursing standards alongside nurse assistants
- Maintain accurate patient assessments and documentation throughout each shift
- Pursue and maintain specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing as encouraged by the unit
- Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of submission
- Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Experience in a Medical Surgical inpatient environment
- Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Work in a unit that actively encourages and supports professional growth through specialty certification
