Landscape and General Laborer - Newport/Neskowin, OR

We are an established landscape company on the Oregon coast. We specialize in custom, creative sustainable projects.

Our area of operation is primarily from Newport to Neskowin, with occasional projects further away. This is a small team, we are open to adding the right motivated team player, who has a great attitude, organizing skills, motivation and with the ability to take on a variety of diverse responsibilities. Who will enjoy working together and values integrity, communication, and is self-motivated.

• There is some flexibility in schedule

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Able to multi-task and perform a variety of different tasks, including but not limited to nursery chores, trucks and equipment - fueled, greased, kept clean, organized and stocked.
• Organizing areas.
• Repairs and install on nursery and farm irrigation and fire lines.
• Building projects, nursery maintenance and expansion.
• Maintenance and general repairs
• Follow safe practice and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Interest in and aptitude for working with tools and performing hands-on tasks
• Good communication skills and willingness to interact with a patient positive attitude
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying materials and equipment
• Willingness to work outside in most types of weather
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Building skills, trenching and drainage work, erosion and retainment, grading and planting with focus on sustainability
• Equipment and tool maintenance, organization skills, nursery and garden crops
• Other duties as assigned
