Aboutthe role
We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Financial Intern to support our Finance team with essential day-to-day office and operational tasks. This is a great opportunity for a student or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience within a fast-growing SaaS company in the marine technology space. The role is part-time (10–20 hours per week) and based out of our Newport, RI office.
Coreresponsibilities
- Point of Sale Hardware Configuration: Set up, troubleshoot, and configure customer printing equipment to ensure reliable day-one operation.
- Hardware Shipping: Coordinate the shipping of hardware to marinas, partners, and events
- Hardware Inventory Management: Track and maintain accurate records of hardware inventory, including receiving, organizing, and reconciling stock levels.
- Mail Scanning: Receive, scan, and digitally distribute incoming mail to the appropriate team members and departments.
- Office Supplies Inventory: Monitor office supply levels, place orders when needed, and keep shared spaces well-stocked and organized.
- Office Upkeep: Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-ordered office environment for the team.
- Event Support: Assist with logistics for company events as needed.
- Ad-Hoc Tasks: Take on additional projects and tasks as assigned by the Finance team to support broader company operations.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with basic technology set up (printers, scanners, shipping tools).
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
- Prior internship or work experience in an office setting is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently with limited in-person supervision
