Administration Assistant

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic person to provide a professional and efficient administration service to our school and a welcoming environment for pupils, parents, staff, and visitors. This role plays a key in supporting safeguarding, pupil wellbeing, communication with families, and the effective running of the school.

The School Office can be a busy fast‑paced environment and the successful candidate will need to be effective in multi‑tasking and working under pressure, whilst also confident working independently and using initiative during quieter times.

We are looking for someone to work 30 hours a week, term time plus 5 training days (39 working weeks per year).

Hunnyhill Ormiston Academy is a two‑form entry primary school for children aged 3 to 11. We are a school situated in the centre of the Island with surrounding forest and farmland with a view of Carisbrooke Castle.
