The Department of Chemistry at Salve Regina University invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions for the Fall
2026 semester. We seek qualified candidates to teach Organic Chemistry I.
The successful candidate will be prepared to teach:
- Structure and Bonding
- Acids and Bases;
Functional Groups - Nomenclature
- Physical properties of organic molecules
- Structure and Stereochemistry of Alkanes
- The study of Chemical Reactions
- Stereochemistry
- Alkyl Halides:
Nucleophilic Substitution - Structure and Synthesis of Alkenes:
Elimination - Reactions of Alkenes
Required :
- Master's Degree in Chemistry
Preferred :
- Ph.D. in Chemistry
