ENGINEER or SCIENTIST

Duties

You will perform tasks involving the research, design, operation, maintenance and development of complex systems and the equipment and/or components, architectures, or data related to those systems.

You will be responsible for working with and leading a project team in the development of systems or subsystems related to Undersea Warfare.

You will apply and develop system and sub-system requirements and specification documents.

You will serve as a subject matter expert and productive team member.

You will participate and lead various Undersea Systems and Subsystems Integrated Product Team (IPTs) meetings.

You will review and analyze system requirement specifications and technical design review packages and providing subject matter expert comments and updates.

You will engage in system engineering efforts including cost and schedule as well as technical aspects.

You will prepare proposals and budget estimates for new and existing tasking.

You will communicate project schedule, status, analysis, test results and risks to technical and management personnel based on your area of responsibility.
