Shape the shoreline, shape your future join us for a hands‑on engineering internship experience! We are seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to support our coastal infrastructure team in
Newport, RI or Marion, MA for Summer 2027
. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and gain experience in waterfront engineering, including structural inspections, hydrographic surveying, dredging, construction management, and more! This is your chance to apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings to protect coastlines and support navigation nationwide.

• Work directly with team members on various project deliverables in the dredging, environmental permitting, civil and coastal engineering fields
• Conduct topographic & hydrographic surveys and 3D drone scans with certified team members
• Assist with structural inspections and construction oversight activities
• Support design work utilizing AutoCAD
• Prepare local, state, and federal permit documents
• Assist with data management and report preparation

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Ocean Engineering, or similar engineering field from an ABET-accredited program
• GPA of 3.0 or greater
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
