Financial Analyst I
OverviewSEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Financial Analyst I. This role will support the USW Combat Systems Department (Code 25) at NUWC, working with multiple programs and sponsors. The Financial Analyst will assist government personnel with task execution, data calls, task book development, and analysis of financial reports to ensure all milestones are met.
Responsibilities- Prepare/Populate Funding Document acceptance and modification based on government input.
- Analyze financial data to identify project and organizational discrepancies, labor charges, non-labor cost reporting, erroneous charges, and overruns.
- Prepare weekly Expenditure Reports.
- Perform fiscal year closeout and startup analyses.
- Assist with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N‑ERP) system transactions and reporting.
- Support development and maintenance of financial reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
- 1 year of relevant experience working as a Financial Analyst within the DoD sector.
- Active Secret clearance required.
- Proficient in Navy ERP/EDW and Microsoft Excel.
- U.S. citizenship required.
