Position: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) Jobs

Cybersecurity Workforce Program Manager

You will be responsible for the development, implementation, management, and the maintenance of the Command Cybersecurity Workforce Program.

You will Coordinate with Command Security Manager and Personnel Security Manager to ensure all users have the requisite security Clearance for access authorization.

You will develop, implement, and maintain existing security controls and procedures to guard against and control unauthorized access, copying or destruction of system and/or data resources.

You will manage user identification and authentication mechanisms, polices and procedures.

You will serve as the primary cybersecurity workforce program advisor to the ISSM, CIO, and CO.

You will manage and maintain the System Access Authorization Requests (SAAR) ensuring that they are complete and accurate.

You will develop cyberspace workforce plans, strategies and guidance to support the cyberspace workforce and address changes to Cyberspace policies to include (i.e. manpower, personnel, etc).

Must be a US Citizen.

Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.

Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level.

Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.

You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty.

Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required.

This position is a Cyber Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain qualifications in accordance policies, for work role Cyber Workforce Developer and Manager (751) Intermediate proficiency level within 6 months of appointment.

The incumbent must meet all certification requirements for IAT Level III within 6 months of assuming the position.

You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.

This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
