Technical Supply Management Position
This position performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (i.e., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions.
Skills:
A good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, worth methods, manuals, or other established guidelines. An understanding of specific needs and the analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels and ensure that stock levels are maintained at optimal levels
- Track shipments and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions
- Assist with the preparation of purchase orders and other procurement-related documents
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that supply chain processes are efficient and effective
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Four (4) years1+ years of experience in a supply chain or logistics role
- Supply Chain Management policies and regulations including FMR, FAR and DoD preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Possesses current and valid OSHA certification for forklift operator up to 15K lbs for forklift types, Class I-V and VII.
- One year of demonstrated experience operating MHE in a warehouse environment.
Additional Requirements
- Must possess an active SECRET security clearance
