Night Shift Registered Nurse In Imc/Pcu/Stepdown
Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown units during night shifts. Support patient recovery through independent clinical judgment and teamwork while fulfilling charge nurse responsibilities. Adapt to various units as needed to ensure continuous quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and promptly identify changes in condition.
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans.
- Assume charge nurse duties, including assigning staff and coordinating unit activities.
- Float to different units to meet staffing needs and provide specialized patient care.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the relevant state.
- Demonstrate at least 1 year of recent experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units.
- Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Exhibit strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Show the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be flexible to work every other weekend and night shifts.
