Hours:

10:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., weekend availability required.

Cold Storage Environment: 35‑degree work environment.

• Ensure product integrity during its stay at the distribution center, from receiving through movement, storage, and final store shipment.
• Ensure all products are appropriately handled, using knowledge of quality and temperature standards.
• Ensure order and inventory accuracy via established processes.
• Work with truck drivers and unloaders while performing receiving and shipping processes for fresh and frozen foods.
• Maintain quality and temperature standards for all products during safe transfer and storage.
• Follow established inventory control practices to meet all Meijer standards.
• Accurately complete receiving‑order‑shipping processes.
• Maintain building sanitation standards consistently.
• Practice 200% safety accountability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Intermediate computer/technology skills.
• Proven ability to multi‑task and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Prior warehouse experience helpful.
• Excellent attendance and work record.
• Good listening and communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills; ability to build and sustain effective work relationships.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Takes pride in a job well done.
