Job SummaryCW is seeking a dependable and safety-minded Material Handler to join our team in a fast-paced grocery store environment.
In this role, you will help keep products moving efficiently from receiving areas to shelves and storage locations, ensuring the store remains well-stocked, organized, and ready to serve customers.
Responsibilities- Safely operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload products throughout the store and storage areas.
- Receive deliveries and transport products from loading areas to designated storage or sales floor locations in a timely manner.
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to ensure products are readily available for customers.
- Organize backroom and storage areas to maintain an efficient and accessible inventory system.
- Track, label, and verify products to support accurate inventory and minimize loss.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting, handling, and storage of products.
- Assist with rotating stock and monitoring product quality, including checking dates and condition.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work environment in both storage and sales floor areas.
- Support store operations and team members by ensuring products are available and replenished as needed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate stocking and inventory priorities.
- Previous experience in a grocery store, retail, warehouse, stocking, or material handling environment.
- Ability and willingness to learn safe operation of material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or similar tools.
- Basic inventory, labeling, and stocking skills.
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety standards and proper product handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
- Valid RealID.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain government base access.
- Experience stocking shelves and organizing inventory in a grocery or retail setting.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work collaboratively with store staff.
- High attention to detail when handling, rotating, and stocking products.
- Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with team members.
- Ability to follow instructions, safety procedures, and store standards.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a busy, changing environment.

Frequently stand, walk, and move throughout the store, stockroom, and loading areas for extended periods, often for the majority of the shift. - Lifting and Carrying:
Regularly lift, carry, push, and pull products and materials weighing up to 40–50 pounds, with occasional team lifting for heavier items. - Repetitive Motion:
Perform repetitive tasks such as bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching (including overhead), grasping, and stocking shelves throughout the shift. - Manual Dexterity:
Use hands and arms continuously to handle products, open boxes, stock shelves, and operate pallet jacks or similar equipment. - Equipment Operation:
Safely operate manual or electric pallet jacks and other basic material handling equipment; may require coordination and physical control in tight spaces. - Climbing and Reaching:
Use step stools or small ladders to access products stored on higher shelves; frequent reaching at or above shoulder level. - Temperature Exposure:
