McLaughlin Research Corporation has an opening for a full-time Security Specialist I position supporting the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport in the area of Physical Security.
Duties include:
* Conduct physical and traditional (non-cyber) security assessments to assess classified labs, storage containers and spaces, computer work stations, and classified work areas to verify and report areas of compliance and noncompliance.
* Provide assessments to the Government Inspection Lead noting areas of compliance and noncompliance verbally and in writing
* Conduct vetting checks for visitors
* Conduct RAMs (Random Anti-Terrorism Measure)
* Assist in discrepancies/investigations
* Assist in inspections/events
* Some administrative duties
Job Requirements
* Eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance
* Attention to detail and situational awareness.
* Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
