Summary
This position is located within Commander, Mid-Atlantic Region, Fleet and Family Readiness Program. The purpose of this position is to provide beverage service in a dining room, bar/lounge facility.
Duties- Operate a limited service bar such as portable bars for private parties and banquets.
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, receive and record payment at time of sale, and maintain inventory of stock.
- Ensure bar is presentable and in sanitary condition.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Must pass all applicable records and background checks.
- Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check; resolve any discrepancies as a condition of employment.
- Starting May 7 2025, non-affiliated individuals requesting access need a REAL‑ driver's license or another acceptable form of identification to access CNRMA installations.
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic and cash handling procedures to compute charges and make change quickly and accurately.
- Working knowledge of sanitation practices and procedures.
- Ability to exercise control over a large group of people to ensure good order and discipline.
- Skill to mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from a limited bar.
- Minimum of six months experience strongly preferred.
This position does not have a positive education requirement.
Additional InformationSalary is dependent on experience and/or education. Executive Order 12564 requires a Federal workplace free of illegal drugs. The use of illegal drugs will not be tolerated and may result in penalties up to removal from Federal Service.
