Help Families Access Essential Energy and Support Services
East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking a compassionate, organized, and community-focused Family Advocate - LIHEAP/Safety Net to support individuals and families in accessing vital energy assistance and stabilization services. In this role, you'll help clients navigate the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and other support programs by conducting assessments, determining eligibility, providing referrals, coordinating services, and connecting families with valuable resources throughout the community.
Your work will directly contribute to helping households maintain stability while empowering clients to achieve long-term success.
The Family Advocate - LIHEAP/Safety Net serves as a key resource for individuals and families seeking assistance through LIHEAP and other EBCAP initiatives. This position conducts client intake, evaluates eligibility, provides case support, coordinates referrals, and promotes awareness of available services. The role also supports outreach initiatives, data reporting, and collaboration across programs to ensure clients receive comprehensive assistance tailored to their needs.
