Position SummaryThe Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for overall coordination and delivery of resident care, leading the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, person-centered services in our skilled nursing environment.
Responsibilities- Complete comprehensive and focused assessments and develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
- Provide and oversee direct nursing care, including treatments, medication administration, and clinical interventions.
- Lead and support LPNs, CNAs, and CMAs, ensuring safe delegation and follow-through.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social services, and other disciplines to coordinate resident care and discharge planning.
- Communicate with residents and families regarding care plans, changes in condition, and education needs.
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation and participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance activities.
- Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and resident-centered care.
- Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited nursing program.
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of Tennessee.
- Long-term care / skilled nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and support a team in a fast-paced setting.
