As an RT here, you’ll be a vital member of a small Cardiopulmonary team, providing full-scope respiratory services without the frantic pace of a major metro trauma center.

🩺 Role Highlights
Full-Scope Care:
Under physician direction, you will administer pharmacological, diagnostic, and therapeutic respiratory procedures.

Diagnostics:
Perform and document Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) punctures, interpret results, and assist with bedside pulmonary testing.

Critical Interventions:
Manage ventilator settings and airway maintenance, demonstrating quick judgment during emergency stabilizations.

Collaborative Environment:
Work closely with a small, multidisciplinary team where your expertise in age-specific oxygen therapy and de-escalation is highly valued.

📋 Mandatory Requirements
Credential: RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) is required.

Licensure:
Must hold a valid Vermont Respiratory Care Practitioner License.

Note:

Vermont licenses typically expire on 11/30/2026, so a new license obtained now will carry you through your full assignment.

Certifications:

Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.

Vaccination:
Proof of Flu vaccination is typically required for North Country staff.
