Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele, travel assignment in Newport, Vermont, United States.
Start date:
06/22/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,099 per week to $2,257 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: Night shift on a 3x12 schedule (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with every-other weekend rotation. Setting:
Hospital-based medical-surgical and telemetry care delivered in a traveling nursing role.

06/22/2026 - Travel assignment in a hospital setting
- Independent work capability with charge nurse duties
- Opportunity to float to other units as needed
- Provide direct nursing care for adult patients in Med/Surg and Telemetry during night shifts, including ongoing assessment, monitoring, and documentation
- Administer medications and therapies per orders and ensure accurate, timely charting
- Apply critical thinking to respond to changes in patient status and to coordinate care with the broader care team
- Perform charge nurse duties as assigned, including prioritizing patient needs, delegating tasks, and ensuring patient safety and quality standards
- Float to other units as needed to meet unit staffing requirements and patient care needs
- Communicate clearly during shift handoffs and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians, RNs, and allied staff
- Registered Nurse licensure in good standing (Vermont) or eligibility for Vermont licensure
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) on a 3x12 schedule with every-other weekend rotation
- Willingness to float to other units as needed
- Must be able to work independently and perform charge nurse duties
