Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Experience in Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, and Baby Unit care
- Ability to float to other units as needed
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.
- Monitor and assess the health status of mothers and newborns.
- Collaborate with medical teams to ensure positive outcomes for mothers and infants.
- Educate patients and families regarding care and health management.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards in nursing practice.
Compliance / Notes:
- Agency professionals are required to attend department quarterly education sessions.
- Personal transportation is strongly recommended due to limited public transportation options.
