Job Summary:

Emergency Room Nurse in Newport, Vermont. This position requires a motivated Registered Nurse with 3 to 5 years of emergency room experience. The role involves working rotating day shifts that may vary between 11:00 AM 11:00 PM or 1:00 PM 1:00 AM, including every other weekend. The position guarantees a minimum of 72 hours per bi-weekly pay period, providing an opportunity to live and work in a peaceful community rich in outdoor recreational activities.

    The facility is a 25-bed Critical Access hospital situated in the Northeast Kingdom, an area known for outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, fishing, and snowmobiling. Personal transportation is strongly recommended due to limited public transit. The organization supports your transition into the community and requires attendance at quarterly education sessions.
