Job DescriptionThe North Country Supervisory Union is seeking licensed clinical mental health counselors to provide on‑site mental health counseling and related services to individual students. Specific vacancies are:
- Coventry Village School - 40%
- Jay Westfield Joint Elementary School - 60%
- Troy School - 100%
Part‑time vacancies may be combined for full‑time work.
Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
Duties/responsibilities include:
- Coordination with teachers and guidance staff;
- Contact with parents;
- Coordination of services with area agencies;
- Attendance at IEP, 504 and/or EST meetings;
- Crisis intervention and on‑call de‑escalation of assigned students.
This is a contracted service contract and candidates must be licensed through the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation and must hold their own liability insurance.
Criminal background check required.
