We’re looking for a poised, welcoming and genuinely attentive Food & Beverage Host to join the team at The Scarlet Hotel
. This role is all about first impressions, exceptional service and memorable moments — crafting a serene, seamless experience for adults seeking restorative, refined hospitality.

As a Host, you’ll be the face of our restaurant and lounge spaces, greeting guests, managing reservations and ensuring a smooth, graceful flow of service. You’ll take pride in delivering high‑quality, thoughtful hospitality with consistency and care. Working closely with the wider team, you’ll help maintain a calm, beautifully organised environment where guests feel truly nurtured — and where our RED values are reflected in every interaction.

• Offer a warm, polished and professional welcome to every guest
• Manage reservations and seating with precision to support a smooth, unhurried service
• Maintain clear, calm communication with the kitchen and F&B teams throughout service
• Keep all guest‑facing areas immaculate, organised and inviting
• Work collaboratively to ensure a seamless, restorative guest journey
• Build strong knowledge of menus, wine pairings, daily specials and dietary considerations
• Respond to guest requests with confidence, care and genuine attentiveness
• Bring a composed, positive energy to each shift, even during busy periods
• Engage actively in your own development and support the growth of others

• Previous experience in hospitality, food & beverage or guest‑facing roles preferred
• Experience in host, reception or front‑of‑house roles advantageous
• A passion for refined hospitality and delivering consistently exceptional experiences

• Warm, confident and naturally welcoming communication style
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
