Housekeeping (Room Attendant) Team Leader

£29,286.40 per annum + share of tips | 40 hours | Permanent contract

If you love that ahhh moment when a guest opens their door to a spotless, serene space, this is your stage. We’re searching for a standout Team Leader to guide our housekeeping crew across the Bedruthan and Scarlet Hotels — two beautiful four‑star properties perched on the Cornish coast.

This role is all about leading people, driving efficiency, and delivering exceptional standards. If you’re motivated, organised, and passionate about creating spaces where guests can instantly unwind, you’ll fit right in.

What you’ll do
  • Organise daily tasks and room allocations
  • Check rooms to ensure they’re guest‑ready and sparkling
  • Report maintenance issues quickly and clearly
  • Support room attendants to meet timelines
  • Step in with hands‑on room attendant duties when needed
  • Assist porters and laundry teams
  • Use and understand our room booking system
  • Communicate effectively with senior managers and other departments

  • Experience in a similar role
  • High attention to detail
  • Self‑motivation and strong organisation
  • Clear communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Written and spoken English
  • Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays
