Lifeguard

Location: Newquay Bay Holiday Resort, Cornwall

Hours: Seasonal Contract – Variable Hours

Remuneration: £12.71 per hour – Paid weekly!

We want our guests to enjoy time down at the pool and to be safe too, so we need qualified lifeguards who have outstanding people skills.

Newquay Bay Resort offers a perfect location for seaside adventures in Cornwall, balanced with the tranquility of a country getaway.

Working as part of our team of holiday heroes, you will be the go-to person at the poolside. You will look after everyone’s safety, keep the whole area clean and hygienic, and make sure that we’re meeting our legal requirements. Be friendly, answer guests’ questions, and ensure everyone is having a great time. You will need to work on weekends and bank holidays as well.

• A valid NPNQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) – you need to pass swimming tests first.
• Fantastic interpersonal skills – you’ll need to be assertive as well as friendly.
• Vigilant and helpful – guests come first, so you need to be alert to their needs as well as their safety.

If your application is successful, you’ll have to apply for an Enhanced DBS. We need to be happy that this, together with other information we may request, is all in order before you can join the team.
