Company Description

Killeavy Castle Estate is a luxury destination set on 360 acres of countryside near Newry, Co. Armagh.

Opened in 2019 following a significant investment in its restoration and development, the Estate offers diverse accommodation options, including a fully restored 19th-century castle, a 45bedroom boutique hotel, and charming self catering accommodation options.

Sustainability is central to the Estate’s ethos, with initiatives like a single-use plastic policy, efficient energy systems, a productive walled garden, and a working farm that supplies estate-reared beef and lamb, all supported by a culture of continuous improvement.

We are conveniently located 10 minutes from Newry and about one hour from Belfast and Dublin airports, attracting both local and international visitors.

We do have the option of near site staff accommodation for any potential candidates, this can be discussed at recruitment stage.

Role Description

The Accommodation Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based at Killeavy Castle Estate in Newry, overseeing day-to-day accommodation operations across the castle, boutique hotel, and gate lodge. This role involves supervising housekeeping and accommodation teams, coordinating room allocations, and ensuring all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to high standards of cleanliness and presentation. The Accommodation Supervisor monitors inventory of linen, guest amenities, and cleaning supplies, liaises with maintenance for prompt resolution of any issues, and supports the implementation of sustainability practices within accommodation services.

The role also includes scheduling staff, training team members on procedures and guest service standards, supporting check-in readiness in partnership with reception, and responding to guest requests or concerns in a professional and timely manner. The successful candidate will contribute to creating a welcoming, comfortable, and memorable experience for every guest while upholding the Estate’s brand and quality expectations.

Key Skills and Experience include
  • At least 1 years’ experience in a similar or supervisory role
  • Self-motivated and have the ability to prioritise work.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Have the ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay:
From £13.65 per hour, negotiable based on experience and presentation.
