The Job:
We are recruiting Agronomists on behalf of several leading agricultural, crop protection and land‑management businesses across the UK. These opportunities range from established agronomy teams to specialist independent firms and farm-focused advisory services. Working closely with growers, you will provide professional, evidence‑based crop advice, support farm decision‑making and help drive sustainable, profitable arable, vegetable and mixed‑crop production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver crop‑walking, recommendations and technical support across a range of crops.
  • Advise on crop protection, nutrition, rotations, soil health and integrated pest management.
  • Build strong relationships with farmers, estates and commercial partners.
  • Support business development and contribute to regional agronomy planning.
  • Keep accurate records, ensure compliance and stay aligned with industry standards.
  • Provide clear, practical advice that supports productivity, sustainability and long‑term success.
The Employers

We are representing multiple agronomy providers including:

  • National agronomy and crop protection organisations.
  • Independent advisory groups.
  • Regional agronomy specialists.
  • Farm consultancy businesses and progressive estates.

All offer strong professional support, CPD, and genuine opportunities for long‑term career development.

The Candidate
  • BASIS & FACTS qualified (or working towards qualification via trainee routes).
  • Strong crop knowledge with practical experience in arable, vegetable or mixed cropping.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
  • Motivated, organised and committed to providing high‑quality, farmer‑focused agronomy.
  • Full UK driving licence.
The Package
  • Competitive salary with performance‑related bonus.
  • Company vehicle or allowance.
  • Professional membership support and CPD funding.
  • Clear progression into senior agronomist, technical or regional leadership roles.
  • Flexible working options depending on location and employer.
