Experienced FTTP Installation Engineer

MJ Quinn is expanding its national FTTP engineering workforce and is seeking experienced FTTP Installation Engineers to support growing demand across the UK. If you have strong, hands‑on experience working on the Openreach fibre network
, we’d love to hear from you.

Working as part of our Service Delivery operation—which completes over 20,000 FTTP installs weekly for Openreach
—you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality fibre installations to residential and business customers nationwide.

Key responsibilities include:

• Installing ultrafast FTTP broadband from exchange to premises
• Working overhead, underground, and within customer properties
• Conducting on‑site risk assessments and adhering to safety standards
• Using fibre testing equipment (e.g., OTDR, light meters)
• Providing excellent customer service while representing the MJ Quinn brand
• Managing travel between jobs and maintaining accurate digital work records

To be considered, you must have:

• Extensive experience on the Openreach FTTP network
• Proficiency in OH/UG fibre installation, jointing, testing, and commissioning
• A clean Basic DBS check
• Full UK driving licence (12+ months held)
• Ability to work at height and underground
• Strong customer‑facing communication skills
• Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail
• Willingness to travel within your allocated region
