HGV Technician – Newton Abbot, Devon
Our clients are looking to employ a highly skilled HGV Technician to join their business in Newton Abbot which operates clean, modern and professional workshops and is the envy of many other operators.
Responsibilities- Complete comprehensive and preventative maintenance, repairs and MOT preparation.
- Accurate fault diagnosis to ensure replacement parts are fitted correctly and warranty claims are in line with terms.
- Maximising your productive time to ensure all KPI’s are achieved.
- Completing job cards and service sheets in a timely manner.
- Be able to work on own initiative.
- Carry out all work & repairs in a safe & timely manner exceeding DVLA standards.
- Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair.
- Ideally have a NVQ3 in Mechanics and an HGV license (not essential).
- Working Monday to Friday
- Temping initially this role may become permanent for the right person.
- A competitive salary of between £43,000-£50,000 depending on experience and including call out.
