Multi-Trade Operative

Our business is growing and so are the opportunities for you to thrive. We are currently looking for a skilled Multi Trade Operative to join our successful Response business based in Newton Abbot. You will specialise in carrying out Responsive Maintenance Repairs to our customers' properties.

• You will be paid weekly, with a guaranteed 39‑hour working week, and annual pay reviews.

• Use your skills to undertake multi‑trade work, including plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, and carpentry repair in domestic settings.
• Attend reactive, emergency, and routine repairs, and occasionally planned refurbishment jobs within void properties.
• Typical repairs include broken taps, leaking pipes, drainage unblock ages, and general kitchen and bathroom work.
• Work in a domestic environment, collaborating with residents or as part of a team.
• Emergency call‑out will be expected on a rota basis.

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in a relevant trade.
• Experience with in a domestic or social housing environment, or relevant response environment background (not essential but desirable).
• A passion for improving people’s homes, strong values in delivering exceptional customer service, and enjoyment of working with people.
• Driving licence with eligibility to drive in the UK.
