Substitute Teacher – Newton Community School District
Newton Community School District is looking for Substitute Teachers! Full day or half day shifts are available. We use an online system where you can pick the jobs to match your availability.
Pay Rates )- Base Rate:
Hourly: $20 - 8 Hour Day: $160
- 4 Hour Day: $80
- Long Term Rate begins on Day 21 of a consecutive day assignment for the same classroom – $25.98/hour (requires Teacher or Substitute License).
- Current Iowa licensure (Teacher/Substitute License/Substitute Authorization) required.
- Copy of your Iowa Teaching License.
- Copy of Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Certificate.
- Transcripts from University/College.
