Substitute Teacher
Substitutes: RN or LPN
Applicants must be a licensed RN or LPN.
Location:Newton Community School District Substitute Nurse Rate of Pay: $20/hour
We use an online system where you can pick the jobs to match your availability.
The following items should be included with your completed application.- Copy of Iowa Board of Nursing License
- Copy of Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Certificate
- The Human Resources Office will receive notification that the application has been submitted.
- HR will then send the DCI Background check form to the applicant.
- Upon approval from DCI, applicant will receive information about the substitute onboarding process.
Substitute employees will be notified of available substitute assignments on an as‑needed basis to fill in for absent staff. Hours and the frequency of assignments will vary depending on district staffing needs, employee absences, and the substitute's availability.
