Operator, Mold Maintenance

Job Description

Position Summary:

The Mold Maintenance associate safely performs maintenance service and repairs to molds and other tooling used in the manufacture of wind blades.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently use hand tools and power tools
• Preparing all molds for operation
• Ensure that standard work is being followed
• Follow all safety protocols, especially given potential exposure to chemicals
• Perform production tasks to cover absences to meet quality and delivery objectives
• Essential to 5S and improving organization on the production floor
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Education/ Skills/ Experience:

• Demonstrated training and mentoring skills

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills

• Ability to maintain a safe work environment

• Previous TPI experience preferred but not required.

Physical

Skills and Abilities

:

• Ability to be on the factory floor for long periods of time, potentially working across all shifts at times.

• Stamina to work 50+ hours/week to support plant performance.
