Registered Nurse (RN) – Newton Village – Part‑Time

As a Registered Nurse at Newton, you will deliver compassionate, high‑quality care to residents, administer medications, and work closely with a dedicated team to ensure the best possible outcomes. The role is part‑time with evening/night shifts.

Position Type: Part‑Time
Location: 110 N 5th Ave W, Newton, IA 50208
Bonus: $5,000 for part‑time position

• Evening/Night Combination: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
• Night Shift: 10:00 pm – 6:00 am

• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Coordinates, oversees, and provides resident‑related care.
• Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician orders and monitors effectiveness/response.
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment—including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items per policies and procedures.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident’s condition and takes follow‑up action as necessary.

• Current Iowa RN license in good standing.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience in long‑term care preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self‑starter with a desire to be part of a collaborative team.
