Adjunct Nursing Instructor for Fall Semester 2026 to teach various Nursing courses. Classes will be scheduled in daytime and evening hours. Please include any applicable nursing certifications with your application.

• Teach assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi.
• Develop and utilize a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods to meet students’ learning styles.
• Foster a safe and civil learning environment.
• Inform students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies.
• Monitor, evaluate, and document student attendance, progress, and competency attainment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• 3 years clinical work experience related to the teaching assignment.
• BCLS certification.
• Iowa RN license or ability to obtain prior to start of employment.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Master’s degree in Nursing (or current enrollment in a graduate Nursing program).
• Teaching experience.
