Position Summary:

Acuren is seeking an Entry Level NDT Assistant (MT/PT/UTSW) to support embedded operations in Newton, Iowa. The role assists certified personnel in performing equipment setup, non‑destructive testing activities, calibrations, inspections, and evaluation processes in accordance with written procedures. The Entry Level NDT Assistant is responsible for accurately recording inspection results, supporting daily testing operations, and contributing to safe and efficient inspection activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate non‑destructive testing (NDT) equipment.
  • Record inspection results accurately.
  • Assist in performing NDT procedures in accordance with written instructions.
  • Carry equipment and support other inspection‑related operations.
  • Perform additional job‑related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Some college education preferred.

Skills & Experience:

  • Technical background desired.
Requirements:
  • Must be able to demonstrate the experience, credentials, and background necessary to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, as determined through a comprehensive background check.
  • Motor vehicle driving record must meet company standards for operating company vehicles.
  • Must successfully pass drug/alcohol screening and background checks as required by the client.
