And under this roof, we protect what matters most.  We are looking for a Process Engineer who will help lead the execution of Quality and Process Improvement projects and activities using standard PI tools such as Qualpro, MVT/DOE, Kepner Tregoe PSDM. Use a Hierarchy of values (Safety, Quality, Service, Cost) in prioritizing, using plans and executing capital improvements resulting from these projects.

* ** Essential Duties
*** Lead process design reviews, raw material qualification and product and process qualification and capability studies.
* Performs PPA/FMEA on all major process and raw material changes.
* Train production personnel on Statistical process Control (SPC).
* Leads the application and interpretation of SPC charting Train and educates personnel on company products, plant and corporate quality policies and procedures; including internal and external personnel, suppliers and customers.
* Conduct internal compliance audits of production tests, process specifications, plant change notices (PCN’s) and other in-plant processes.
* Coordinate Plant Trials with R&D and plant personnel.
* Ensures trials are accurately conducted and reported.
** Qualifications Required
*** Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
* 5+ years process engineering experience
* Must have the ability to lead a team
* Works well in difficult and time pressure situations
* Demonstrated knowledge of engineering fundamentals and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, PLC and AutoCAD.
