Job Purpose
Providing continued patient care by assisting in areas that require additional attentions. In order to provide the best all‑around care for our patients, this position is key in scheduling to specialist as needed and tracking of patients hospitalized. Responsible for receiving, processing, scheduling, and following up on all medical referral requests, including in‑house and outside referrals for diagnostic testing, medical specialists, or other providers.
Duties/Responsibilities- Calling insurance carriers to verify pre‑authorizations.
- Calling specialist to schedule consult appointments.
- Calling patients to verify and inform them of scheduled specialist appointments.
- Processing and forwarding requests for any information on medical history from medical charts.
- Follow up on unscheduled referrals as to why they were rejected or not scheduled and verifying that corrective measures are performed.
- Track imaging orders and follow up on completion of procedures.
- Follow up with nursing staff to confirm appointments, procedures, and authorizations.

Monday‑Friday, 8AM‑5PM - Benefits:

High School Diploma or equivalent - Experience:
