Registered Medical Assistant; RMA

Health Ministries Clinic (HMC) is seeking a mission-driven Registered Medical Assistant/ Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in Newton, KS.

Promptly room patients and collect vital signs, including weight, temperature, and blood pressure, along with other required information.

• Accurately enter patient data and clinical information into the Electronic Health Record.
• Accurately scan a variety of documents into the system
• Answer phone calls from patients, physicians, and facilities regarding clinical matters.
• Send medical transcriptions to referring providers via fax or mail, as needed.
• Assist in maintaining up-to-date medication sample stock and supplies.

• Minimum education:
  
  High school diploma/GED required.
• Current Kansas Medical Assistant Certification (RMA and CMA) required.
• 1-year ambulatory health care experience preferred.
