HR Coordinator

Paramount Community Living and Rehab, a premier provider of compassionate and high-quality care, is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As an HR Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the organization's mission by providing human resources support, ensuring compliance with HR laws and regulations, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support, including but not limited to: recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations
  • Assist with the development, implementation, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures
  • Coordinate and maintain employee records, including personnel files, medical records, benefits, and I-9 files
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including company policies, benefits, and employee relations
  • Participate in labor meetings and communicate updates to management and employees
  • Coordinate payroll processing and garnishment requests
  • Respond to employee inquiries and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner
  • Participate in employee recognition and retention initiatives, including stay interviews and employee recognition programs
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day HR operations
