Health Ministries Clinic (HMC) is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Environmental Services (Custodian) to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming clinic environment in Newton, KS.

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.

-3:00 p.m.

• Clean assigned clinic areas, including hallways, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, floors, and windows.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize, and remove stains from surfaces.
• Restock cleaning supplies and restroom essentials.
• Disinfect restrooms, breakrooms, and frequently touched surfaces.
• Empty waste containers and properly dispose of trash.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and keep the EVS closet neat and organized.
• Report maintenance needs, equipment issues, and safety concerns to management.
• Secure clinic doors after operating hours.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Positive, professional attitude and flexibility.
• Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain confidentiality.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, push, pull, and frequently lift 25 pounds or more.
