Welder – Newton, KS

$20-28/hr, depending on experience

This position involves welding ferrous and non-ferrous metals using GMAW and/or resistance spot welding. Duties include setting up welding equipment, changing wire and gas, performing basic machine maintenance, loading parts into fixtures, and completing welds to specification. Employees will inspect finished parts, grind welds as needed, and may operate or assist with robotic or cobot welding equipment. Keeping the work area clean and safe, reporting inventory needs, and performing other assigned duties are required.

High School Diploma or GED required with two years of manufacturing experience and a stable work history. Must pass drug, physical agility, and hands‑on weld tests. Ability to read basic drawings and instructions, work well in a team, maintain quality standards, and demonstrate dependability. Must be able to lift up to 65 pounds regularly, 80 pounds occasionally, stand and walk throughout the shift, and work in a noisy environment.

Contract-to-Hire

Monday - Thursday, 3:30pm-2:00am;
Friday and Saturday overtime possible
