General SummaryThe selected candidate will safely work with a team in a manufacturing environment performing a variety of operations to assemble, and potentially troubleshoot, electro‑mechanical systems using a variety of hand & power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment to correctly assemble/test medical devices. They will be responsible for maintaining product flow, quality, and work schedules.
Essential Functions- Work in a team environment building multiple Medical Devices by following relevant Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI) and procedures
- Performs a wide variety of electronic, mechanical, or electro‑mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub‑assemblies
- Follow a lean manufacturing process to achieve a daily build goal
- Assembles, repairs, inspect and/or test products following written instructions
- Ensure systemic accuracy of inventory
- Assist in cycle count efforts as determined
- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
- Knowledge and understanding of production process work instructions and operates within them to ensure that a device conforms to its specifications
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
You will be expected to obtain the tools listed as “Minimum Required Tools” for your classification. Regular attendance and starting on time are essential. Expected to perform at acceptable safety, quality and performance levels and strive for continuous improvement as described in Full Vision’s Quality Policy.
QualificationsPhysical Requirements
- Occasional lift/carry, pushing and pulling of up to 50 lbs.
- Standing, Twisting, Walking – frequently
- Hand/Eye coordination – frequently
- Continuous standing and walking on concrete surfaces
- GED or High School Diploma
- Passage of Drug Test
- Passage of Physical Agility Test
- Good verbal communication
- Electro‑mechanical assembly experience with attention to technical detail
- Ability to read and interpret simple assembly instructions and drawings.
- Ability to work in a team environment with effective interpersonal skills.
- Understands Quality and the effect it has in a production environment.
- Good organizational skills
- Experienced forklift driver
- Two years manufacturing experience
- Personal integrity and dependability
- Computer proficiency
- Stable work history
