Position

Summary

The Director of Campaign Management is responsible for planning, executing, and managing fundraising campaigns that support the organization's mission and strategic goals. This role leads campaign strategy, donor engagement, volunteer coordination, and project management to ensure fundraising initiatives are completed on time, within budget, and achieve revenue targets. The Campaign Manager collaborates closely with leadership, development staff, board members, volunteers, and community partners to cultivate relationships and inspire philanthropic support.

Campaign Planning & Management
  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising campaign plans, including annual, capital, major gifts, and special fundraising initiatives.
  • Establish campaign goals, timelines, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate campaign activities across departments to ensure successful execution.
  • Monitor campaign progress and adjust strategies as needed to maximize results.
  • Campaign execution and project management.
Fundraising and Donor Engagement
  • Partner with development staff to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors.
  • Support major gift strategies and donor recognition efforts.
  • Manage major gifts and donor pipelines.
  • Prepare the board and leadership for donor conversations.
  • Develop compelling fundraising materials, presentations, and campaign messaging.
  • Coordinate donor appreciation and stewardship activities throughout the campaign.
Volunteer and Committee Management
  • Coordinate with Volunteer Coordinator to recruit, train, and support campaign volunteers and committee members.
  • Support board and leadership with campaign talking points, committee coordination, and accountability.
  • Coordinate volunteer meetings and maintain regular communication.
  • Provide volunteers with campaign resources, fundraising tools, and progress updates.
  • Foster strong relationships with board members and campaign leadership volunteers.
Communications and Marketing
  • Collaborate with Marketing Department staff to develop campaign materials and case for support.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across digital, print, social media, email, and events.
  • Assist with storytelling, values, trauma work, future vision, consistent language, and impact reporting to engage donors and stakeholders.
Data and Reporting
  • Track campaign performance using donor database and CRM systems.
  • Show accountability by reporting to CEO, President of Foundation, and Board.
  • Prepare regular reports on fundraising progress, donor engagement, and campaign outcomes.
  • Analyze campaign data to identify trends, gaps, and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain accurate donor and campaign records.
Events and Community Engagement
  • Assist in planning campaign-related events, donor receptions, and recognition activities.
  • Represent organization at community events and networking opportunities.
  • Build relationships with community leaders, businesses, internal programs and leadership, and partner organizations.
