Qualifications & Skills:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Recent experience in a Telemetry (Tele) nursing setting
• Strong skills in cardiac monitoring, telemetry strip interpretation, and responding to arrhythmias
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational abilities
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver bedside care and implement individualized treatment plans for telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac telemetry systems and promptly report changes or emergent conditions
• Administer medications, therapies, and interventions as prescribed by physicians
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in electronic health records
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding cardiac conditions and treatments
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment in adherence to hospital protocols
