We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (Part Time Days or Nights) to join our Internal Float Pool team.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to inpatients and outpatients of all ages.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient and family needs, followed by planning, coordination, teaching, counseling, and delivery of direct physical care.
- Evaluate patient responses and progress toward outcomes and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure high‑quality, coordinated care.
- Function as a member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team, supporting related duties as assigned.
- Promote safe patient care by demonstrating accountability and effective communication.
Education and experience:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or diploma in nursing from an accredited school required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience required.
Knowledge and skills:
- Ability to provide age‑appropriate care.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient and family‑centered care.
- Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records.
- Excellent verbal and non‑verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and advocate for patients.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
Licensure, registration and certification:
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required on designated units.
- Specialty area certification highly desired.
