CLA is currently seeking an Associate to join our CAAS (Nonprofit Industry) team based out of our Massachusetts office location.

• Client Service:
  Gain the ability to handle multiple clients, software, and charts of accounts daily, weekly and monthly.
• Day to Day Transactions:
  Coordinate and process accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.
• Month End Processing:
  Complete financial statements and coordinate account reconciliations (bank & credit card, prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, accruals). Complete complex reconciliations set up and supported by Senior Associate, Assistant Controller, Controller or CFO.
• Quarterly/Annual Processing:
  Complete sales tax returns, Form 1099s, and other items as requested by clients.

• Accounting and financial experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree is required. Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

The wage range for this position in Massachusetts is: $68,.
