PE backed manufacturing company just outside of Boston is seeking a Staff or Senior Accountant to join their team. This role will focus on the GL, journal entries, cost accounting, inventory, and controls. We are seeking candidates with 2+ years of experience, ideally within a manufacturing or retail environment.
Responsibilities Include- Support the month-end close process
- Manage cost and inventory accounting
- Partner with various other divisions including Operations, Production, and Supply Chain
- Ensure controls are in compliance with company and industry standards
- Other ad hoc projects with the Assistant Controller
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- 2+ years of hands‑on accounting experience
- Public accounting / CPA is a plus, but not required
- Exposure to manufacturing, retail, or another product‑based environment
- Strong communication and attention to detail skills
