What You ll Do Responsibilities
  • Organizes and coordinates unit/floor operations, manages schedules, assignments, and maintains office supplies to ensure smooth workflow
  • Answers and directs incoming phone calls, greets visitors, handles inquiries, and communicates with residents, families, and staff while strictly adhering to HIPAA regulations
  • Arranges and confirms appointments for residents/patients and manages incoming mail, correspondence, and appropriate filing systems for records and documents
  • Operates office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, phone systems, and computers for word processing, database management, and other administrative tasks
  • Maintains patient confidentiality, exemplifies professionalism, and communicates with respect, caring, and sensitivity to all health professionals and visitors
  • Supports daily administrative duties including tracking clerical work, making copies, managing the switchboard, paging announcements, and handling emergencies as needed
Qualifications
  • High school education
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • At least one year of experience working with the geriatric population
  • At least one year of experience working as a receptionist
  • Experience with customer service required
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and following instructions in English
