Job Description
At Ameriprise Financial, we take pride in providing clients with a personalized experience. As a Client Service Specialist, you will conduct administrative responsibilities for front desk support and provide practice management support for advisors or leaders.
Key Responsibilities- Reception support: answer phones, greet clients and address service requests.
- General admin: log correspondence and check deposits, maintain client files, manage office supplies, process expense reports, initiate maintenance requests, schedule wholesalers and support branch seminar events.
- Practice support: deliver the Ameriprise Client Experience, introduce clients to the digital experience, schedule appointments, enter client data into applications.
- Assist advisors in preparation or follow‑up to client meetings and support the practice's marketing programs (events, go‑social, MOD, etc.).
- Associate (2‑year) degree or equivalent.
- 1‑3 years of relevant experience.
- Maintain confidentiality, demonstrate integrity, and operate under limited direction.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for client interaction.
- Effective written and oral communication.
- Function in a fast‑paced environment, maintain operational quality, balance multiple priorities.
- Understanding of a financial advisor’s practice.
Applicants must have valid U.S. work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.
Office RequirementsThis is a client‑centric role that requires in‑office collaboration. Employees in this role work in the office five (5) days per week.
Compensation and BenefitsEstimated hourly rate: $25.14 – $34.51. Total compensation may include variable pay such as bonus, commissions, and/or long‑term incentives. Benefits include vacation time, sick time, 401(k), health, dental and life insurance.
